NEWSLETTER
Welcome
to a new exciting year of 4H. We are off to a great start, at the January 20th
meeting we had 13 4H members and 10 cloverbuds present. The club voted to have
meetings on the 4th Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. They also voted
to have dues as: 4H member $10 per member and cloverbuds $5 per member, due ASAP. Officer
elections will be during the February 22 meeting and new officers will be installed at that meeting.

14 The extension office is holding a project book open
house from 10 a.m. to noon at the extension office in Georgetown.

16 Candy bar sales start, money due at the March 28th
meeting. If you havent made your order please contact Brenda @ 392-9278.

Project Books
The
cost per project will be $5.00 per project book.
Swine Trip
If you
are planning on taking a swine project to the fair, the Jr. Fairboard Swine Department is sponsoring a trip to the Goldrush
Swine Clinic on March 13th. Cost is $15 per person and is due to the
Extension Office by Feb. 10th. There will be limited space on the
bus, and is a first come first serve basis.
Quality Assurance
First
year members taking an animal to the fair is required to attend a Quality Assurance clinic.
The QA clinic will be at the Southern Hills Vocational School on May 25th at 7:00 p.m. Other members can take the QA quiz that will be sent with tag in information.
